Business Name & Licensing

BIG is Bristlecone Insurance Group, LLC, a licensed insurance business entity owned by Tyrell Jensen.

Nature of This Website

This website is directed at licensed insurance producers and agencies considering contracting with BIG (Bristlecone Insurance Group, LLC) as an independent marketing organization (IMO). It is not intended as an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any insurance product to members of the general public, and no insurance application can be submitted through this site.

No Guarantee of Appointment, Income, or Results

Carrier appointment is not guaranteed and is determined solely by each carrier based on its own underwriting, background check, licensing, and contracting requirements. BIG makes no representation, guarantee, or promise regarding the commission levels, production volume, or income any producer may achieve. Any commission figures discussed verbally or in writing are illustrative only and subject to the terms of the applicable carrier contract in effect at the time of sale.

Carrier Relationships & Trademarks

References to specific insurance carriers, if and when added to this site, will be made only with each carrier's prior written marketing approval. Carrier names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Appearance of a carrier on this site is not an endorsement of BIG by that carrier, nor an endorsement of that carrier by BIG.

Product & Market Claims

The Products and Solutions pages describe annuity, life insurance, long-term care, and advanced case support categories. BIG should only publish specific product types, carrier names, or advanced-planning capabilities (e.g., premium finance, charitable strategies, estate strategies) that it can genuinely support through real carrier appointments, licensed expertise, or a real referral relationship with a qualified professional. Advanced planning work in particular may involve securities licensing, additional disclosure obligations, or referral arrangements that carry their own compliance requirements — confirm those separately with compliance counsel before publishing specifics.

Marketing Co-Op & Lead Support

Any marketing co-op funds, advertising materials, or lead referrals made available to appointed producers are provided at BIG's discretion and are not guaranteed as part of any contracting arrangement. Producers remain responsible for ensuring any marketing material they use — including co-op-funded material — is approved by the applicable carrier's marketing compliance department before use, consistent with NAIC advertising regulations as adopted in each relevant state.

No Government Affiliation

BIG is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government, any state government, the Social Security Administration, or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Suitability & Best Interest Standards

Producers appointed through carriers BIG works with are independently responsible for complying with all applicable suitability, best interest, and disclosure requirements in every state in which they conduct business, including but not limited to the NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation (as adopted in each relevant state) and any state-specific long-term care partnership or disclosure training requirements. BIG does not supervise individual sales presentations and does not assume a producer's regulatory obligations on their behalf.

Privacy Policy

[PLACEHOLDER — this is not a complete privacy policy.] BIG collects information submitted through this site's "Partner With BIG" and contact forms (such as name, firm, email, phone number, and resident state) to evaluate and follow up on inquiries. NPN and other carrier-contracting details are collected later, once an actual contracting conversation begins, not through this site's initial forms. We do not sell this information to third parties.

Before launch, this section needs to specify: what data is collected (including via cookies/analytics, if any), how long it is retained, who it is shared with (e.g., carriers during contracting), how a visitor can request access to or deletion of their data, and whether any state privacy laws apply (e.g., California's CCPA/CPRA) to your data practices. If you plan to use analytics or advertising cookies, add a cookie disclosure and, where required, a consent banner.

Terms of Use

[PLACEHOLDER — this is not complete legal terms of use.] Use of this website is subject to terms to be finalized with counsel, including limitations on liability, intellectual property ownership of site content, disclaimers regarding the accuracy of carrier and product information (which changes frequently and is controlled by carriers, not by us), and governing law/jurisdiction.

Errors & Omissions (E&O) and Anti-Fraud Notice

Producers are responsible for maintaining their own active E&O insurance coverage as required by each contracted carrier. Any attempt to submit fraudulent licensing, background, or production information through this site or in connection with carrier contracting may be reported to the applicable state Department of Insurance and/or carrier Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
